Saudi Phosphorus Industrial Company (SaudiPhos), a JV between SADIG Industries and Italmatch Chemicals has awarded the FEED contract for it’s Phosphorus project in Waad Al Shamal to Fluor Arabia at the Future Minerals Forum on January 11th 2023.
The signing took place in the presence of H.R.H Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman Al-Saud (Minister of Energy), H.E. Bandar Al-Khorayef (Minister of Industry Mineral and Resources) and H.E Khalid Al-Falih (Minister of Investment).
The project aims to produce elemental phosphorus in the kingdom and enable the development of further phosphorus based downstream specialty chemicals.
